Kangaroo Bedding
The project
SBM works with Kangaroo Bedding to deliver a brand new website and massively boost visibility to new customers online.
The puzzle
Kangaroo Bedding Baby & Toddler manufacture 100% Australian-made mattresses, many of which have received positive reviews from Red Nose Australia. As their previous contract finished, Kangaroo Bedding decided to take things in a new direction, marketing and selling directly to customers. They requested SBM’s help with creating an eCommerce website that would reflect the values of the business and be simple for customers. Social campaigns would get the word out to their ideal audience, backed by a video celebrating 33 years of business and designed to generate sales.
The solution
SBM and Kangaroo Bedding worked together to launch a far-reaching social campaign, with a competition based around their new promotional video: 33 mattress giveaways to celebrate 33 years of business. The video was specifically designed for clear, customer-friendly motion graphics and imagery of their target demographic (parents of young children). The eCommerce website was built to allow users to customise their orders based on their individual needs. Through constant communication, the SBM team was able to help Kangaroo Bedding in keeping their tone and brand voice consistent across the entire campaign.
The results
The video created by the SBM video team led to a massive spike in competition entries, resulting in over 700 new users added to the Kangaroo Bedding database. They have continued to thrive beyond the project’s completion, with their ongoing marketing- including EDM campaigns- providing a return on investment over five times the original amount spent. The eCommerce website launch was also a success, serving as a dynamic and user-friendly platform for the competition, Kangaroo Bedding’s marketing campaigns and all of their regular site visitors.
