The puzzle
Future Golf is Australia’s strongest social golf community, providing flexible pathways for their members to access, learn and play golf in a friendly environment. When the business sought to reinvent their brand and appeal to a younger demographic, they turned to SBM for assistance. Specifically, Future Golf needed help in capturing their key message and integrating that sentiment throughout their branding. Along with this brand shift, they needed a new website that would serve as the business’s central hub, giving both members and guests a smooth user experience.
The solution
During the website’s design and creation, it was vital to get an understanding of Future Golf’s unique selling points and vision for an expanded audience. The brand and member portal was developed with this in mind, focusing on a slick, contemporary feel and a seamless user experience to capture the interests of a wide demographic. Website leaderboards gamified the golfing experience, increasing engagement with the target market. This member portal helped people track free games, forge links with local golf clubs and stay informed about upcoming events.
The results
The member portal brought Future Golf’s website to life, encouraging members to build relationships and networks away from the golf course. This new brand helped build a sense of community, drawing in a younger audience. The SBM Development team provided a full eCommerce setup for membership, allowing online sales to be processed immediately. This process was also streamlined for existing members, allowing them to easily continue subscriptions. This total brand and process refresh built confidence in Future Golf as a trusted community of passionate golfing enthusiasts.
