The project
Custom-made eCommerce sites spark a boom in online sales for six distinct brands.
The puzzle
The Giving Brands Company (GBCo) is a major innovator in the pharmaceutical and body treatment industry, with a focus on partnering brands, influencers, manufacturing and distribution. Publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, they’re skilled in brand development and are successful across Australia. GBCo needed SBM to develop six eCommerce websites for high-profile brands, in a very tight timeframe. Each brand had distinct styling, requiring seamless eCommerce with multiple payment gateways and intuitive management of stock from the back end.
The solution
SBM listened to exactly what GBCo needed for all six sites and worked alongside their internal designers to build the perfect framework. SBM developers implemented a variety of styles and website designs, all while ensuring the backend was consistent and easy to manage. Custom-built software was developed from scratch so that it would smoothly mesh with GBCo’s backend stock management, ensuring each site could update its products without any hassle. Regular meetings were held with GBCo’s content developers and graphic designers, which greatly increased the speed and efficiency of decisions.
The results
Before the new eCommerce sites were developed, the six brands had very little web presence. The online stores have now seen more than 10,000 visitors and counting, with the brands existing as unique, standalone websites. The close collaboration between SBM and the GBCo’s internal designers made sure that their original concepts were developed all the way to completion, with the client’s needs and specifications always at the forefront. The GBCo brands have experienced significant growth since the project was completed.
