It was lights, camera, masks, 1.5-metre distancing and action for SBM’s Video team, as they completed a major film shoot in the midst of COVID-19 restrictions – fortunately, with everything wrapping up before stage 4 restrictions came into effect.

The shoot was part of a major campaign for Bosch Car Servicing, and involving an eclectic mix of actors and vehicles, from bright pink cars to classic Volkswagens. The set was described as buzzing with energy, with quick and efficient shooting that allowed the team to keep things within both time and budget.

Adding to the challenge was making sure all government safety regulations were followed, which meant masks for the crew, 1.5-metre social distancing, washing of hands and a whole lot of scrubbing the props and equipment.

Despite the extra rules, the shoot was a success on all fronts, with the team currently working on getting the finished product polished and edited for wide release.
