SBM Charity Spotlight – The Lost Dogs Home
Since 1910, The Lost Dogs Home have been advocating for the rights, values and welfare of animals, promoting responsible pet ownership and providing care for lost or abandoned animals.
In addition to the wide range of animal welfare services and programs they offer, they act as major lobbyists for fairer animal laws, with the aim to reduce the number of strays or abandoned animals.
- As one of Australia’s largest animal shelters, The Lost Dogs Home is an advocate for Australia’s unwanted, stray or lost cats and dogs, caring for over 16,000 animals each year.
- The Lost Dogs Home helped 4,758 animals find homes in 2021.
- They also helped 2,432 animals find foster homes last year.
We have a large number of furry office co-workers here at SBM, which makes this a charity that hits close to home for many.
For the next couple of months, we’re doing our bit to help The Lost Dogs Home through competitions, events and general fundraising.
We’d love it if you could join us! Check out the donation box in this article, and stay tuned for more news on what we’re doing to help out the Lost Dogs Home.
