The project
Cutting-edge app development allows Speedster Now to compete against industry giants.
The puzzle
Speedster Now is a same-day-guaranteed delivery company based in Southern California. A true industry innovator, they were also a new competitor up against big-name companies such as Uber and Lyft. Speedster Now approached SBM to develop a peer-to-peer, customer delivery request mobile app, both for Android and Apple iOS. This would complement their brand new website platform and take their business all the way from the idea stage to a streamlined service.
The solution
SBM designed and developed two separate iOS and Android mobile apps to fulfil the needs of Speedster Now. SBM’s development team used intelligent map snapshots to highlight the delivery journey while protecting against potential security issues. Native Script was employed to enable rapid development and deploy to iOS and Android at the same time. Meanwhile, the web interface was completely rebuilt for a smooth and seamless mobile experience. Constant feedback ensured a working version was available to the market in an incredibly short timeframe.
The results
The swift development of their iOS and Android mobile apps allowed Speedster Now to launch their business and commence operations, gaining ground and doing business even in a tough, competitive market. The introduction of the shipping and driver mobile apps has increased the valuation of Speedster Now’s business, especially with how incredibly streamlined and easy the system makes it for customers to track parcels, view delivery photos and so much more. This has paved the way for future business success against some of the biggest players in the rideshare game.
