The project
SBM helps Nordik Living create a comprehensive marketing strategy, resulting in increased sales through a multi-channel approach.
The puzzle
Bringing beauty and sophistication to their designs, Nordik Living creates Scandinavian-style furniture that projects taste and elegance, without upsetting the average budget. Despite strong offline sales, the business wanted to increase the effectiveness of their online store, making it a true showcase of their products. All visual content needed to arrest the attention of buyers across both the online store and Nordik’s social media platforms. This would require a strong effort from SBM’s Video and Design teams, who needed to capture the furniture’s various elements within a short project timeframe.
The solution
A multi-channel approach was taken for the marketing campaigns, allowing each channel to feed into the next and create a wealth of user data on who was interested in Nordik’s products. This would then allow for pinpoint targeting, for maximum effectiveness. For the video side of the project, the team learned everything they could about the strengths of each product. These elements were then captured in a series of short videos that would give a thorough picture of each piece, in much greater detail than a simple photo.
The results
As a result of the holistic marketing campaign and elegantly filmed videos, Nordik experienced a significant boost in sales. Mostly notably, the strength of the campaign allowed them to sell out of what had once been their slowest-moving product. Over time, Nordik Living and SBM have continued to work together on extended marketing campaigns. The videos were used across both the website- where they help browsing customers see what the piece will look like in a real space- and social media, with their short form perfect for online sharing.
