The project
Bosch Auto celebrates 100 years in business with an engaging integrated video marketing campaign
The puzzle
Bosch Automotive were about to reach their 100th birthday, and they were looking to launch a simultaneous marketing campaign that would turn heads and help their customers celebrate this incredible milestone.
They came to SBM with plans for an integrated campaign, focused around three videos that would showcase their diverse clientele and engage their audiences with a dose of self-aware humour.
The solution
Working under strict lockdown conditions, the Video and Content teams worked together to craft scripts that would represent the company’s spirit and core message: “Bosch – for everything your car needs.”
The videos prioritised humour to capture the attention of viewers, and an eclectic cast (of both people and cars) was assembled to properly represent Bosch’s clients across Australia. SBM’s Marketing team took the completed videos and turned them into an extensive nationwide campaign, promoting the chance to win an eBike and celebrate Bosch’s centenary milestone.
The result
Despite heavy restrictions on filming, the client was incredibly happy with the end result, noting that the video ads captured the spirit of Bosch automotive’s offering while offering great entertainment value by themselves.
The marketing campaign was also a success, finishing with over six-thousand competition entries and more than twenty-million impressions, helping Bosch to share their centenary celebration across Australia and New Zealand.
